Part of the Piera family, though stands in her own right, Piera Grotto is a white, stoneware vessel adorned with silver & gold, midnight and evergreen glazes. She’s born and informed from Grotto Gardens, Architectural carvings frequent on the Upper East Side, and the medley of insect summer soundscapes. The main characters of the vessel are the silver butterflies, golden cicada, green shrubbery, central fountain, and ribboning.
